OCTOVO is an assistant that runs on your own computer and really operates your mailbox, calendar, files and receipts. This page shows seven everyday situations — each with the sentence you say and what it makes of it.
Use cases
What can it really take off my hands?
That is the question before every purchase — and a feature list does not answer it. A situation does. Here are seven that most people recognise themselves in: with the sentence you say, the sequence step by step and what sits on your screen afterwards.
So there’s no misunderstanding: The conversations are re-enacted, the names invented. Every step in them is a tool that really exists in the app — none of it is a promise for later.
Seven situations
Do you recognise yourself ?
Ordered by the moment in the day when they happen. Each card names the situation and the one sentence — the full page behind it shows what comes of it.

From sentence to order
How does a situation become an order ?
In three steps, without a rule editor: you say it, OCTOVO shows what it understood, and the result sits visibly in a list.
-
You say it in one sentence
“Collect all invoices and send them to my accountant at the end of the month.” Typed or spoken, the way you would say it to a person.
-
OCTOVO shows what it understood
A card in plain language: kind, trigger, what it does, where the approval sits, where it lands. You can tap and change every piece — “Exactly”, “Change” or “Never mind”.
-
It sits in the list
Recurring, event or order — with state, last run and counter. Pause, change, delete: any time, with one click or one sentence.
What orders look like in the app Approvals and autonomy levels in detail
Are these use cases real or re-enacted?
Re-enacted, with invented names — OCTOVO is new and has no customers yet, which is why there is no customer quote here. Every step in the conversations, however, is a tool that really exists in the app: fetch the mailbox, sort an email, find free slots, write a Word document, search the screen memory.
Do I have to set something up for each case?
No. You connect your mailbox and calendar once; after that every case is one sentence. What should run once, you say in the conversation; what should run permanently becomes an order in the list from the same sentence — pausable, changeable, deletable.
My case is not here. Does mine work anyway?
Probably, if it consists of mailbox, calendar, contacts, files, receipts or the web. OCTOVO has no fixed feature list — it has tools for these areas and understands a sentence. Write it down. If something is not possible, it says so instead of pretending.
In these cases, what goes out without my approval?
By default nothing to the outside: at the “Balanced” level OCTOVO does what happens only on your device and puts everything that goes out in front of you. Four things stay with you at every level: permanent deletion, anything that moves money, cancellations at the calendar service and anything that comes from screen content.
