Documentation

One area per tool

Every section here describes a tool Otto actually has — with a rebuilt mock-up of the interface, the hard numbers and the known limits. Everything here has a source in the code.

How it fits together

From the first click to the log entry

Five steps, recurring in every area: connect, instruct, act, approve, review.

  1. Connect

Connect a mailbox, calendar or other source — Otto only reads what you give it a connection to.

  2. Instruct

Write in the conversation or wait — a lot of it runs on its own as a standing order.

  3. Act

Otto works according to the autonomy level you set — from “asks about everything” to “just handles it”.

  4. Approve

If it is unsure, or something leaves the house, it presents the draft with a reason instead of acting.

  5. Review

Every action ends up in the log with trigger, reason and result — gapless and exportable.
