Otto writes a finished draft with a reason, you can edit or discard it, and if unsure nothing goes out without your approval.

A draft, never without a reason
Otto does not answer mail silently. Every draft carries a sentence on why it reads the way it does — and for everything that leaves the house, you decide how much of it runs without you.
How a draft comes together
-
01
Finding the person and the matter
From the address book and mailbox: who is writing, what it is about, how you address them.
-
02
Gathering the relevant facts
For a rescheduling, for example, free slots from your calendar with travel time already subtracted.
-
03
Presenting the draft with a reason
Fully written, editable right in the field, with a sentence on why it reads the way it does.
What an approval looks like
The same card as in the app: icon and subject on top, the reason below, on the right the only solid-orange button in the whole application — next to it the quiet reject.
The hard numbers
- 30 sec to take back a send
- 20 recipients per message — fixed limit
- 50 outgoing messages per hour
Which autonomy level allows sending without asking is in the full level table on “How it works” — deleting and payments stay subject to approval at every level there.
